LIXIL Taps Industry Veteran Kelly Safis as First Female Executive to Lead Sales in Americas Leadership Hire Will Advance Growth and Champion Culture of Equity and Empowerment

 LIXIL Americas, maker of pioneering water and housing products, today announced that Kelly Safis joined the company late last month as Leader of Sales in the Americas. Safis is the first female executive to hold this position at LIXIL Americas; this leadership hire continues the company’s commitment to achieving gender equality and supporting employee empowerment through equity and workplace changes.

Safis brings more than 30 years of experience in Supply Chain, Trade Marketing and Field Sales, and her diverse background will further position LIXIL Americas to continue to deliver strong long-term growth. She most recently held the position of General Manager, Builder Sales and Operation at Whirlpool. In her new role at LIXIL, Safis will be responsible for leading the strategic direction and implementation of LIXIL’s refreshed go-to-market strategy in the United States and Canada. She will work closely with customers in LIXIL’s trade, retail and distribution networks to achieve key business objectives.

Safis earned her Bachelor of Arts in Marketing with a concentration in Supply Chain from Michigan State University. Her holistic approach to managing a sales unit, from people management to complex negotiations and channel development, will take LIXIL’s agile and empowering culture to the next level.
